The Challenge
Rotating savings circles (ajo/esusu) work on trust, but going onchain means enforcing contributions, handling early-payout demand fairly, penalising missed payments, and keeping a tamper-proof payment history.
The Solution & Architecture
Members lock collateral and contribute each round while idle funds earn yield. Payout slots are auctioned so anyone needing the pot early can bid, missed payments are slashed from collateral, and an AjoScore on-chain records each member's payment history.
Impact & Results
An onchain ajo/esusu protocol with collateral, yield on idle funds, auctioned payout slots, slashing and an AjoScore payment history, built for the Arbitrum Open House Dubai buildathon.
